Excel and MIS reporting, automated
This is a separate service from the website analyzer, offered by the same team. If your reporting is a spreadsheet someone rebuilds by hand every week, we can make it update itself.
The weekly report that takes a day
Someone exports three files, pastes them into a master workbook, fixes the dates, drags the formulas down, refreshes the pivots and emails a screenshot. It works until that person is on leave, or a column moves, or the file passes a few hundred thousand rows.
Most of that is repeatable, which means it can be automated inside the tools you already have — without buying a new system or retraining the team.
What we build
Excel dashboards
One-page views of the numbers that matter, with slicers and drill-downs, fed from your data rather than typed in.
Power Query
Import, combine and clean data from files, folders and databases with a refresh button instead of copy and paste.
VBA and macros
Buttons that do the repetitive steps: formatting, splitting files, generating invoices or statements, sending the report.
MIS reports
Daily, weekly and monthly management reports — sales, collections, inventory, attendance — built once and refreshed on schedule.
Data cleaning
Duplicates, inconsistent names, mixed date formats, merged cells and text stored as numbers, sorted out and kept sorted.
KPI dashboards
Targets against actuals, trends and exceptions, agreed with you first so the dashboard answers the questions you ask.
Reporting automation
The whole chain from raw export to finished report, so producing it takes minutes and doesn't depend on one person.
Typical requests
Illustrative examples of the work, not client results.
Monthly sales report built by hand from branch files
A Power Query model that reads every file in a folder and refreshes the report in one click.
The same statement formatted for each customer
A macro that generates one file per customer from the master sheet and saves them as PDFs.
A workbook that takes minutes to open
Replace volatile formulas and whole-column lookups, move the data into a model, and keep the sheets for presentation.
How it works
- 1
Show us the report
Send a sample of the files and the report you produce today, with sensitive values removed if you prefer.
- 2
We propose the approach
Which parts to automate, with which tool, and a quote for that scope.
- 3
We build and hand over
You get the workbook, a short note on how to refresh and maintain it, and changes after you've used it for real.
What it costs
Every job is quoted for its scope: a single dashboard is a small job, a full reporting chain across several sources is a larger one. Tell us what you produce today and we'll reply with a price before any work starts.
Good to know
- We work in Excel (desktop and Microsoft 365), Power Query and VBA. If a database or a BI tool would serve you better, we'll say so.
- Your files are used only to build your report and are not shared.
- This service is not part of the website analyzer's plans.
Questions
Is this related to the website analyzer?
No. It is a separate service from the same team. The website tools and their plans are unaffected.
Do we need new software?
Usually not. Power Query and VBA are part of Excel. If your version lacks a feature we need, we'll tell you first.
Can you work with our existing workbook?
Yes. Most jobs start from the file you already use, so the result looks familiar to the people who read it.
What if our data layout changes later?
We build for the changes you expect — new months, new branches, new products — and explain what a structural change would need.
